Another area of work at IFEU is to organize and conduct training courses such as workshops and practical training on various topics and for different target groups at both national and international levels.

International training courses/further education

InWEnt (Capacity Building International, Germany) has commissioned IFEU to conduct several seminars for professionals and executives in business, politics and administrations from Asia and Africa. Subjects include Cleaner Production, Sustainable Development and Environmental Management.

• Designing and conducting approximately 20 training seminars for professionals from Africa and Asia on the topics "Cleaner Production", "Sustainable Development" and "Environmental Management". On behalf of the Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung GmbH in Bonn and Berlin (InWEnt /Capacity Building International, Germany) since 2003.
  
• Carrying out training programmes: "Leadership and Management in the Environmental Administration in Vietnam", Nha Thrang, Viet Nam; on behalf of the Deutsche Stiftung für Internationale Entwicklung (DSE), June 2001.
  
• Participation in the training of environmental specialists within the framework of the fellowship programme for environmental management. By order of the MVV (public transportation system in Mannheim) and CDG, Carl-Duisberg-Gesellschaft in Berlin, 1999.
