Cross-media Evaluation

The IPPC Directive

The Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive calls for the application of techniques that ensure extensive environmental protection. Together with ARCADIS (Darmstadt), IFEU has developed a technology-based cross-media evaluation method commissioned by the UBA using elements from life cycle analyses and environmental impact assessment (EIA). The method was also published in the IPPC reference document "Economics and Cross-Media Effects.
