Projects were (and are) carried out in order to assess different aspects of agricultural food production.
This includes the production of different agricultural food crops (wheat, sugar beet, potato, soybean, etc.) as well as different production systems like conventional and organic farming and onward processing like the production of edible oils, e.g. from rapeseed, sunflower, and soy bean. One of our studies is on food in regional production.
In all cases the investigations include complete life cycles and refer to different production sites and conditions such as in Germany, Europe, and the USA.
